Our Centor bifold with blinds preparation is unlike our other bifold doors, it needs a specific set up. Ideally this will be accommodated by your architect at the drawing stage. Here is a helpful guide for your architect or main contractor to follow.

Threshold set up

  • The aperture brick work must be offset to accommodate the blind box section when preparing for a Centor product with blinds .
  • Structural lintels / beams above the brickwork have to be 300mm overall longer than the internal blockwork width.
  • If the aperture has already been prepared in line then either the bifold will have to be reduced in width by the size of the blind box with a blanking plate externally.
  • Threshold must be level and fully supported.

Find out a little about Centor

This aluminium bifold door is made with a number of high quality details. Such as engineered corners which are put together pre-powder coating for flawless colour. Sadly this does mean that dual colours are not available. However if you are in need of a marine finish this is no additional cost as with other manufacturers.

Our Centor integrated folding door comes in a wide range of configurations and can be manufactured up to 9.2m wide and 2.8m high. It is appealing for a number of applications for both commercial and domestic projects. Unlike many other bifold doors the sashes are hinged from the top and bottom rather than the jamb for easy adjustment.

Centor doors offer a unique screen system as an addition to your sliding or bifold doors. With this screen system you will be able to enjoy the breeze without the worry of insects! Not only have they gone even further (developing two different types of fly screen) but they have designed a screen to shade you from the sun outside. You can have both of these screens fitted to your doors as they sit neatly within the frame and out of the way ensuring the Centor shading options frame your view rather than obstructing it.
