At the time of install all the moving parts will be lubricated with light machine oil, taking care to wipe away excess. Annually you should have a look over the hinges and handles and apply lubrication where needed, make sure to wipe any dirt away. You can WD40 the external moving parts on your handles if they become stiff.

When cleaning your frames use soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Also have a check of your drainage holes when you do this to make sure nothing could be obstructing them, if there is this can be easily removed with a cloth or toothbrush. Although there should be no damage it is worth checking the mastic seal to make sure there are no signs of cracking.
