This large and prominent new extension comprises dark cedar cladding and aluminium fascias, and the glazing design calls for the best in contemporary aluminium doors and general glazing.
Bringing light below the roof is a series of clerestory fixed windows designed using the premium Origin OW-80 windows. These come in various fixed pane sizes and are cleverly designed with our client so the window mullions line through with the vertical mullions on the sliding doors below and the structure overall.
The Origin windows come with premium-grade insulated aluminium, a marine-grade powder-coated finish, glazed internally, and high-specification insulated glass units. The windows run across the entire front elevation and as two shorter window runs to the sides, above the cladding. A fantastic way to fill this large kitchen, dining and living space with natural light.

Sunflex sliding patio doors

Both are designed in a three panel design, with two panels sliding behind the third in opposite directions. As a result, fully open, the aluminium doors create a wonderful transition to the patio area and garden, made even better by the flush track and minimal step on both door sets. Origin doors come as standard with an 8-point locking system, luxurious door handles to the master leaf and colour-matched door gaskets, adding to the neat and coherent styling.

The doors come with the feature backplate of original steel doors, two slimline glazing bars on each panel, safety glass throughout, and a stylish black internal door handle on the lead door. The secondary door leaf is secured by hidden bolts on the side and can be opened as required.
Of course, internal doors should never need a threshold, and these Aluco steel-inspired internal doors allow the flooring to run uninterrupted between the two rooms.
