Designed for flexibility and visual impact
As with all Schüco systems, the AS FD 75 is fully bespoke, allowing you to tailor it precisely to your needs. From two to eight panels, this system suits a wide range of project sizes and styles. We can also design and install these superior bifold doors with a fixed or open corner design.
The real design win lies in the wider panel capability. You can achieve a three-panel bifold in a four-metre opening, where other bifold doors must be in four or five panels. The visible aluminium is reduced, giving you more glass, better views and a greater feeling of space in your room. These larger panes offer a look closer to a sliding door when closed, but with the benefit of full-panel stacking when open.
Schüco AS FD 75 bifold door offer you the ideal track and threshold options. The 4mm flush track is ideal for internal use, while weather-rated and wheelchair- accessible thresholds meet most external installation needs. Each offers a clean visual finish, continuing the modern lines of the door. These doors are also ideal in retail premises such as restaurants, hotels and cafés.
Colour options are extensive, including the popular greys, blacks or whites, as well as the full RAL colour range. Also available are metallic and textured colours and a different colour inside and out. Schuco handles come in a contrasting brushed stainless steel finish, black or white.
Precision engineering in every detail
Despite the slim appearance, the AS FD 75 delivers the performance expected of a premium German system. It meets all required UK standards for security, weather resistance, and energy efficiency.
Security features include internal glazing beads, multi-point locking, and precision- engineered components designed to deter break-ins. Handles are refined and discreet, bearing the Schüco branding and engineered for both function and style.
As standard, the door achieves a U-value of 1.4W/m2K with high-performance double glazing. With triple glazing, U-values as low as 1.0W/m2K are possible, meeting or exceeding current Building Regulations for thermal performance.
