At HBD Systems, we know building work covers a multitude of different jobs. Our trained and professional installers take care of a simple lowering of thresholds when adding new bifolding or sliding doors to an existing opening.
Lowering a threshold is typically done when your existing door is sat higher than we want the new one to be. If this is the case, we take out a course of brickwork to sit your new door down and create an almost flush threshold.
More complex work, such as enlarging an existing window opening to install a door or creating new openings, can be taken care of by us or our trusted builders whom we’ve partnered with for years.
Our clients commonly want to redesign their current windows/ doors to accommodate new bifold or sliding doors. Creating a new opening includes the removal of brickwork, possibly new steels or lintels and related electrics or plumbing which may currently be in place.
Whatever your requirement, we can help you with your project directly via our approved contractors, and of course, work with your existing builder or architect.
