The owners of this beautiful, modern Hertfordshire home were brought to HBD via their architect (Stanley Architects), HBD were the first company the clients visited and it was a perfect match, so much so that even after shopping around we came back together to help deliver their perfect glazing system. 

“The architects advised us to speak to HBD Systems in St Albans and when we did we were hugely impressed by the showroom and fell in love with the Sunflex SVG20 sliding doors. We’d been considering bifold doors because we’ve got friends who have them, but realised quickly that the large panes of glass and really narrow frames were perfect for what we wanted to achieve. We spend time visiting other suppliers and their showrooms but kept coming back to HBD Systems because they really understood what we wanted and the doors were by far the best. We knew we would pay a little bit more but the quality and feel was obvious and knowing that HBD Systems would fit them using their own fitters made the decision really easy.“

This contemporary home features a 7.8m wide 3 pane sliding door in a popular 7016 Anthracite grey colour. As you may know the Sunflex sliding door can be made to open from either end and in this case both ends open, allowing easy access from the kitchen/ dining area out into the garden.
